The Process

We take signups on a rolling basis and close signups when classes are full. There are no deadlines, but the earlier you sign up, the better your chances of getting into a class.

You don’t need any coding experience to enroll at Epicodus, but you should feel comfortable using a computer and the internet. If you are not sure if you have sufficient computer literacy skills, take this quick, informal self-assessment. You also need to be able to speak and read at least conversational-level English.

Here's what you need to do to sign up:

  1. Watch the video on our homepage from start to finish to make sure Epicodus is what you're looking for.

  2. Read about what to expect, our career services, and our frequently asked questions.

  3. Review our tuition and financial aid options.

  4. Optionally, email us to get any lingering questions answered or come to a free Saturday workshop in Portland or Seattle to see our office and get a taste of how we do things and talk in person.

  5. Fill out the form to sign up! There are no application fees.

We'll follow up with you within 2 days of signing up with a short writing assessment to make sure you have the basic writing and computer use skills to be successful at Epicodus and in your job search. After submitting that assessment, we will notify you of your acceptance or denial within 2 days, at which point you can sign your enrollment documents and pay your deposit to reserve your space.

If you voluntarily withdraw, you are welcome to re-apply and continue where you left off. Transfers are not accepted.
